Farewell Office Heroes (and Dessert Heroes)

Office Heroes will always have a special place in my heart. It was not only my first game but It was also the first project in my professional career that I actually cared about.
The conditions of long hours of coding were nullified by the excitement of developing something we were passionate about. It was our baby. I never once considered it work. I never dreaded waking up in the morning because I was doing what I loved.
It didn’t hit me until recently but I never really got to stop and think about the lives these games have affected by simply providing a few minutes of entertainment a day. People are allowing us as game developers to entertain them, so its only fitting we try our best to not disappoint them. Delighting millions of people, even ever so slightly through funny dialogue text, or graphics/sounds, rewarding gameply and also connecting people through these very games, has always been what I wanted to do and developing Office Heroes helped me realize that.
And even though not everyone loves our games and theres have been alot of unforeseen difficulties, its posts like these make it all worth it.

So I want to thank you Laura and the millions who have given us your time by playing office heroes and dessert heroes.
